John 1:12
I heard a certain preacher, while he lifted up his Bible, to say that: "This book is the only supernatural thing left on the earth." Bless you, preacher, but you are still here, on the earth, in the land of the living. And I say, Aren't you a son of God?
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
You are sons of God, if the Spirit of Christ dwells in you, and that is not of this earth, but heavenly, supernatural.

John 1:12
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Some say, not much—if any—spiritual gifts of the Holy Ghost exist in this dispensation; not much—if any—of supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit. And as such, they say that they cannot heal you. Perhaps not by their hand, since they live in unbelief. They cannot, but the Spirit can! Are they in the counsel of the Lord? Do they instruct him? They say, it is in the scripture—in a scripture of men's imaginations and private interpretations, maybe? In bookstores near you, on Amazon.com? But it is not noted in the scripture of truth. They say, It is there, see here in 1 Timothy 5:23, where Paul lost (they say), his power of healing, because of what he is recommending Timothy to do. Oh, please, these gifts, including the gift of healing, are not to make us supermen in the flesh. Even as the Lord Jesus said to Paul: My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness, when Paul asked the Lord thrice that a certain infirmity might depart from him (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). This is teaching us that only in accordance with his grace and purpose, when it pleases him, today or for them two thousand years ago, we might be healed and, for that matter, receive any other gifts and revelations from the Spirit of the Lord. We just believe; he performs. 1 Timothy 5:23 and 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 is teaching us not that the gift of healing ceased, but that the Holy Spirit distributes or withholds as it pleases him, for good to them that love God (Romans 8:26-28), today as two thousand years ago. But as the word of his power is not made void, miracles may not have of much manifestation among unbelieving.
And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:58
My brothers and sisters do not be led to conform to the world, by saying to her: We are not magicians, or those believing to have supernatural gifts, no, not us! And she may say to you: Come, you who overcame, come and be received of me!
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 2 Peter 2:20
But you say: This verse is too harsh for us and does not pertain to us. And I say, maybe it does not yet, but you are, in some ways, being led there. And you say, "We are innocent, we have the full grace of God in us, and no pollutions of the world can encompass us. But I say: you believe in the gift of teaching, you do well; even the world believes that. You believe in the gift of wisdom; even the samurai believes that. And you believe in the gift of knowledge you do well; even the atheist believes that. You believe in the gift of (strength) in faith; even the Buddhist believes that. You conveniently believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are suitable to be presented as "normal" to the world. Is not that a polluted belief? You do not believe in the other gifts of the Holy Ghost for this age. Why? Do not rob yourselves of that belief. While the spirit of this world is working mischiefs among you, you are in unbelief of the full workings of the Holy Spirit, stepping into the realm of "having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof." No? Remember the sin first shows up at the door, before it enters into anybody's heart.
So, then I say, leave it up to the Lord, how, where and when he will manifest himself through the Spirit of the Lord. We just believe that we may see. And we may pray for each other to grow in the mind of Christ, being blessed by the Lord. Amen.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Ephesians 1:15-19

1 Corinthians 12:7
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
They say that gifts of the Holy Spirit (spiritual, supernatural gifts), ceased, even a long time ago. One argument of some being that Paul is not talking about the gifts in his Second Epistle to the Corinthians (2 Cor). And indeed, he is not. But what a strange argument and conclusion to derive from it. Don't you think that the brethren at Corinth would be alarmed if the gifts which they received of the Holy Spirit (which Paul intensively taught in understanding and administrations of them in his First Epistle to Corinthians - 1 Cor 12 and 1 Cor 14) would cease? Paul would actually need to talk about it in his second epistle, because there would be a great concern in the churches which he would have to address. So, the reason that Paul did not talk about the gifts in his second epistle further indicates that, on this ground, everything was as before; brethren still had the gifts. Realize that between writings of 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians, there is only about one year. So, if we assumed again for a moment that gifts ceased, the anguish of losing the gifts wouldn't die of - it would be at its peak. The brethren would be anxiously requesting and awaiting guidance from Paul.
As such, it's much safer to say that the gifts of the Holy Spirit were alive and well in the church of Corinth at the time when Paul sent to them his second epistle (2 Cor).

About spiritual gifts, again if they ceased or not. Those who say the gifts ceased are looking at those men and women who minister those gifts in error or pretense and say to themselves: We just see a falsehood! And based on that they cease to believe in the gifts. And such the gifts do cease in their circles, because of their unbelief. Error in one creates error in another. False faith in one creates no faith in another. Without faith, how can there be revelations of God?
